“The War on Wonga”- 5 years on: A celebration and challenge of a prophetic call

Summer 2018 marks the 5th anniversary of Archbishop Justin Welby’s challenge to the church to help promote affordable finance with credit unions - aka the “War on Wonga.”

Join us for a stimulating and challenging evening of theology and practical challenge, as together we ask these questions:

  • What social injustice caused that prophetic call?
  • Where are we now in responding to this
  • What are the new challenges for the next 5 years in London, as together we seek a fairer financial system for all?
