Sofa Surfing Together
On Maundy Thursday (29th March) we are inviting people from across London – young (we’d suggest aged 5 years old+) and old (no top end here but please do be careful with your back) – to sleep on their couches at home, too reflect on the last night of Jesus before his crucifixion and to remember the homeless people on our streets like John, who was sofa surfing – that is to sleep on other people’s couches and floors – before he ended up sleeping rough at mainline stations.
As you sleep out on your sofa please tweet out your efforts including this hashtag #SofaSurfingTogether and the card below.
Let’s sleep out and tweet it out in order to raise awareness about London’s Hidden Homeless
We look forward for Twitter and Facebook being filled with our collective sofa sleep out as together we seek to raise the issue and funding to support the 62%.
