A New Year of Hope

A New Year of Hope

05 January 2017 by Andy Burns in Education, Isolation, Practical Intervention.

Hope in Tottenham reaches into communities that in the past have sometimes generated negative headlines and working with them, seeks to put in place appropriate and dynamic programmes that are appropriate for the environment in which they are based. In the past, sometimes community initiatives were started by groups and organisations that weren’t based in the area; Hope in Tottenham is entirely locally based, managed and organised by staff and volunteers from the area with the Director Revd John Wood MBE. This strengthens the credibility of the organisation and enables those partners with whom we work to build long-term relationships that can lead to real change on the ground.

“Hope in Tottenham emerges from the community with a proven track record in turning faith into service for all the people of Tottenham. The ideas involved, but more especially the people, deserve our backing.”
